Recently after watching a disastrous Hindi pic, all of us( read family) on the advice of my youngest cousin decided to risk our sanity for some more time and watch another movie-UP, a Disney animation, all the while having our doubts about the movie. But we were in for a pleasant surprise. Not only were our doubts about the movie dispelled, it actually turned out to be pretty good.
The movie is all about the DREAM of this young couple( childhood friends and die-hard fans of an explorer) to find this lost paradise in South America and settle next to the beautiful water falls.I wont bore you with all the details here, you can watch the movie for the complete story.
What I would like to highlight here about the movie is the Undying spirit portrayed in it.The idea that life is meant to be lived king-size(I don't mean it in the monetary sense here) , that its never too late to pursue your dreams and come what may, if you have the grit and determination, no dream is too big.All the while, the innocence in the movie is kept intact. As an animation it has few things in it which seem too far fetched and unrealistic, like balloons being used to keep a house flying but its the idea behind each such concept- "Go for your dream! No matter how impossible it may seem" which is really appealing.
Its packaged so beautifully, that each age-group will come out feeling that it had something for them.I sure did feel great after watching it.

VOTE DO VOTE LO!!!
Well another election has come and gone and we dont see much changes around in the promises being made by the prospective PMs,MPs,etc."Bring us to power & we'l change the country for you",quote the politicians but the junta knows better then to believe it.DO WE REALLY?
Well lets consider the previous few days, the percentage of voting has turned out to be really low(especially in a city like mumbai, the cultural capital of India). After the recent attacks & threats it was assumed that the junta would awaken and choose a responsible government(irrespective of the party). But that was not to happen.
What right do we as citizens have to criticize the working of the government machinery when we are not being responsible enough to go out for a few minutes and cast our vote? The people out there working(or not) in the government are the representatives of the people and unless we people do not actively participate in choosing them and giving them the power to rule, how can we expect great results from them??
As goes the popular saying "As you sow,so you reap" ,unless we get out there and vote responsibly and choose responsible candidates we wont have great results,'cause there's no fairy godmother out there with a magic wand to produce magic solutions to all the problems. So guys think thrice before you decide not to vote and even then if you feel its pointless to vote, chuck your feelings outta the window and just go and vote ;)

What made me a blogger...
Wassup Bloggers???
This is your new blogger, Anusha.I have been an avid reader all my life, but I never gave writing a serious thought. That was till I was asked to write as a guest blogger for my friend's blog.My friend said "Stop slogging and start blogging(don't get any ideas people,am not one to slog, but blog????) ..My initial reaction was"Dude! You must be outta mind,me and blogging??NO WAY!!!!!!!"
I mean why would anyone want to read my post???Sounds familiar??Yeah the nagging self-doubt most of us are bothered by.
The voice in your head which says -"What are you wearing???Everyone's gonna think you look like a clown" or "You think u'l be able to speak and address such a huge gathering? You'l be tongue-tied and the laughing stock in the auditorium".
"SO WHAT???"People are going to think am funny and have a good laugh?Big deal!I'l laugh along and isn't giving them a reason to laugh,a good deed?I mean, the guys in the audi are nearly falling off their seats drowsily and You(I) go up there and give them a good laugh.I dunno about you guys but I sure think its better than putting them to sleep in the first place.
So people, the next time the teeniest bit of doubt crops up in ya head, get out there and scare the hell outta the doubt. So much for the gyan darshan. So long till the next time ( if am not invited to write again,BIG DEAL!I have my own blog now;) ).
KEEP COOL/FAITH
